Mixed media on Linen *velleity : 불완전 의욕 (아직 행동에 나타나지 않은 약한 욕망) 0. 누구에게나 재생되는 기억이 있을 것이다. 어떤 노래를 들으면 떠오르는 장면이라던가, 냄새를 맡으면 생각나는 사람 같은 것들. 그런 기억들은 아주 얕은 산등성이 같아서, 올라가는지도 몰랐는데 어느새 내리막길이 보인다. 산책이 끝나면 이 기억이 없어진다는 것을 알고 있다. 그런데 이렇게 계속 재생되는 기억이 절대 잊고 싶은 기억일 리가 없다. 1. 내가 이 기억을 반복 재생할 때마다 조금 더 완벽할 수는 없는 걸까? 내가 이 기억을 잊지 않을 수 있을까? 나는 아주 무겁고 약간 큰 납작한 덩어리를 열심히 부식시켜 가며 새겨냈다. 꼭 기억하고 싶은 부분은 몇 번이고 몇 번이고 다시 그려내고, 긁어내고, 문질렀다. 그러나 내가 힘을 주어 뱉어낼 수 있는 말은 그 흔적의 요철뿐이었다. 2. 처음 뱉어낸 말은 아주 딱딱해서 조금 부드럽게 전할 수 있는 방식을 고민해 보았다. 그러다 보니 나의 말은 점점 제 멋대로 흐느적거리게 되어 버린다. 부드러워지려다 보니 유동성을 획득한 기억은 멋대로 늘어지기도 하고, 앞과 뒤, 위와 아래가 서로 엉겼다가 떨어지기도 한다. 3. 뱉어내고 남은 것을 다시 말해보려 하지만, 이미 한번 뱉어낸 말은 원래의 기억에 요철이 남아 있더라도 점차 열화된다. 열화된 나의 말은 유령이 된다. 4. 나는 이 기억을 계속 말하고 싶은 걸까, 혹은 잊고 싶은 걸까? 기억을 되살려 보려고 (혹은 없애 보려고) 하지만, 분명 제일 열심히 기억하려 노력하며 새겨내는 데에 천착한 부분인데도 구멍이 뚫린 듯 비어 있고 주변은 누렇게 타 들어간다. 5. 나에게서 나온 기억이지만, 나를 떠난 기억은 결국 나로 인해 넝마가 되었다. https://solkangstudio.com/Love-your-Hypocrisy Mon, 31 Jan 2022 07:56:07 +0000 SOL KANG https://solkangstudio.com/Love-your-Hypocrisy Love your Hypocrisy... <img width="4000" height="5228" width_o="4000" height_o="5228" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/ba1b5c65fbe563bf9bbee209dc4d277cf89b47045a6fb3a7fd51959a3f3cbf2d/_.jpg" data-mid="131979658" border="0" data-scale="28" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/ba1b5c65fbe563bf9bbee209dc4d277cf89b47045a6fb3a7fd51959a3f3cbf2d/_.jpg" />Lover You Should Come Over, 2021.
